    Folding: To keep pleats crisp, raise Roman shades smoothly and evenly. For cordless shades, lift evenly from the bottom rail using both hands.

    How do I measure for outside mount Roman shades?

    To measure for an outside mount, add at least 2 inches to both the width and height of your window to allow for full coverage. Ensure the window frame or wall can support the mounting hardware.
    Do I need to subtract 3/8 inch when ordering inside mount Roman shades?

    Yes. If your window casing width is 50", you should order width 49-5/8".(deduct 3/8 inch by yourself)
    What is the minimum window depth required for inside mount Roman shades?

    For inside mount, a minimum of 2" depth for non-motorized shades, 3" for motorized shades. If the depth is less than this, consider an outside mount for a better fit.
