Curtain Depth
Curtain depth refers to the side profile of the curtain—how much space the drapery occupies from front to back.
Typical overall depth ranges from 3 1/2" to 5 1/4".
The distance from the hardware attachment to the back of the curtain varies by style:
- Pleated (with rings): ~ 2 1/8"
- Ripple Fold: ~ 2 1/2"
- Grommet: ~ 2 5/8"
The upper portion is slightly narrower due to the sewn heading, while the lower portion is fuller and spreads out more naturally.

Our drapery features clean, tailored hems with a Cozyology logo binding on the back for a refined finish.
Cozyology logo binding is applied to darker fabrics only to prevent visibility through lighter-colored materials.
Invisible from the front, this detail adds a discreet, elevated touch to the craftsmanship.
- The side hem measures 1 1/4".
- The bottom hem measures 3 1/4" (1 1/8" for lengths under 40")

Your finished curtain panel may be 4–10 inches wider than the single panel order width.
This reflects our approach to fit and craftsmanship, with careful attention to every detail:
- Fabric springback: After tailoring, the fabric naturally relaxes and expands slightly, creating a more refined, dimensional drape.
- Precision measurement: The single panel order width is measured from the leftmost hook to the rightmost hook and does not include side hems.
This thoughtful construction ensures the panel fully covers hardware on both sides and closes seamlessly at the center—without gaps.
Tieback Size
Tieback Size
Tiebacks feature dual button positions for an adjustable fit.
Each tieback measures approximately 5" in height, while the length is custom-made based on your curtain’s width, pleat count, and fabric thickness.
Most tiebacks typically fall within 9"–32", depending on the drapery’s shape and softness.
Designed to complement your curtains, each tieback is custom crafted—no measuring required.

As shown on the right, the tiebacks for sheer curtains feature a unique design, adding an elegant touch to your lightweight fabric.
