Roman Shade Stack Height Guide
The stack height is the space your Roman shade occupies at the top when fully raised.
It’s influenced by the shade’s overall size, length, fold style, and the spacing between each fiberglass lift rib.
Most Roman shades have rib spacing between 9 and 14 inches.
Shade Length affects Stack Height
Shade Length affects Stack Height
Longer shades have more fabric and folds, creating a thicker, bulkier stack.
Shorter shades have fewer folds, so the stack is slimmer.
If you’d like different-length shades to have a more similar stack height, or if you prefer a slimmer stacked look on longer shades, we can customize that for you — just reach out to us anytime at consult@cozyology.com.
