Moving into a new home in June 2025 felt like standing before a massive, blank canvas.
The ultimate creative challenge was turning this fresh, vast, and empty space into a soulful, warm, and grounded environment.
Modern luxury meets timeless coziness.

Elevated yet effortless. This home draws on Minimalism, Modern Organic, and Wabi-Sabi influences to create a sanctuary. Instead of mass-produced items, the space is filled with artisanal, hand-carved pieces and unique textures that tell a story.
Inspired by watching her mother’s natural eye for decor transform surroundings into something meaningful, Bailey designed this home to be a soulful, warm environment built on authentic materials.

Design Process and Collaboration with Cozyology

Design Philosophy:
My design philosophy is constantly evolving as I find new ways to blend personality with functionality.
I’m always looking at traditional design principles to create spaces that feel grounded and permanent, rather than just a reflection of what’s trending.
I believe a home takes time, and allowing your space to evolve naturally is what makes it truly unique.
Window treatments are the core to any room.
Everyone looks out of the windows, so why not dress them up! It’s such a key element to elevating a space.
For this home, partnering with Cozyology allowed us to really tailor the function and aesthetic for each specific area. Whether it’s floor-to-ceiling curtains or a chic Roman shade, these details define a home.
Challenges Overcome with Cozyology Curtains
We completely transformed the atmosphere of our entire home simply by layering in thoughtful, high-quality window treatments.
By partnering with Cozyology, we were able to solve specific functional needs for different rooms—like achieving pitch-black darkness for better sleep quality in the primary bedroom and ensuring child-safe, remote-controlled light filtering in the nursery—without sacrificing an effortlessly expensive look.

Dining Room
I wanted something that felt really inviting. We chose the Layla Linen Pleated Curtains in the color Straw Beige. They make the space feel so warm and cozy, which is exactly what I needed for this room.

Primary Bedroom
Sleep quality is extremely important to me. We went with the Lena Linen Pleated Curtains with a 100% blackout liner. The linen texture gives an effortlessly expensive look, while functionally giving us that pitch-black darkness at night.

Nursery
Safety and convenience were top of mind. We chose Motorized Roman Shades in a soft, breathable cotton. They are remote-controlled with a child and pet-safe design, and the light filtering is absolutely perfect for nap times.

Living Room
We wanted to keep the space open and bright. The custom drapes diffuse the natural light beautifully, giving the room a seamless, high-end look without feeling heavy.

Key Design Lessons:
When renovation decisions feel overwhelming, focus on investing in authentic materials and structural silhouettes that act as functional art rather than trying to incorporate a bunch of trendy pieces.
