No. The motorized shades cannot be operated manually in the event of a power outage or when the power is off.
No, you don’t need to subtract 3/8 inch. When ordering inside mount Roman shades, we will automatically subtract the necessary 3/8 inch from the exact width measurement to ensure the shades fit properly and operate smoothly.
For an inside mount, the window depth should be at least 2.5 inches to accommodate linen Roman shades properly. If the depth is less than this, consider an outside mount for a better fit.
